Remember a few weeks ago when hurricane Matthew blew up the East Coast?  Blair and Jeremiah will remember it for the rest of their lives, for it was the same weekend as their wedding.  He turned out to be a very uninvited guest.  Although it poured from early in the day until well past their reception, it didn't get them down one bit.  It was one of the loveliest wedding days that I have had the privilege of capturing.  I think it had to do with just how wonderful this couple is to work with, nothing fazed them and that will help them greatly as they face the journey of marriage together.

They got ready at her parents house along the banks of the picturesque Pocomoke River.  The grounds and their property is absolutely beautiful, so much so that we did their engagement session there as well last year.  We photographed until it started to rain sideways.  Fortunately, Blair made backup plans for the wedding to take place in a local church, but the reception was still held outside at her parent's house.  It turned out to be a fantastic night full of laughter, friends, their wonderful families and of course their love for each other was evident and couldn't be thrown off by a little hurricane.  We did return two weeks after their wedding to capture portraits of the happy couple and for that session we had an amazing night full of gorgeous light and these two loving on each other.  Best wishes to the happy couple.  We hope you enjoy the peeks of your wedding day.
